Sutherland House School were invited to participate in Gedling Schools’ first ever Tri-Orienteering event.
Give it a Go events are a cross between a festival and a development event. These events are essentially taster sessions that introduce a sport / activity that pupils may not have tried before. Pupils will practice the essential skills (festival), be introduced to the game concept and rules and then have an opportunity to learn through game play (development). No prior experience of or exposure to the sport is needed. The event provides an opportunity for your pupils to get involved in inter-school sport.

This was the second time the students from class 7 have represented Sutherland House School at an event organised by Gedling Schools. The students represented the school incredibly well and all enjoyed the experience. The students displayed great teamwork and communication completing all four outdoor tasks to a high standard. Their behaviour, engagement and effort were excellent. Well done to all.
