Students represent SHS in Inclusive Running Event

All the staff and students wore red so we could see each other clearly on the athletic track. Each student ran around the 400-metre track and passed the baton onto a classmate.

A brilliant effort was displayed by all the students, and they should be very proud of their efforts.

For three students this was their first offsite sporting event they have attended. In total the school team ran an incredible 13 laps in just over 40 minutes, matching our school record set last academic year.

In recognition of this achievement each student was awarded with a gold wrist band. The running track was very busy with over 100 students representing over twelve schools.
