The Multi-Sports event consists of Dodgeball, Kurling and Handball. The event was organised by Notts Active.
Dodgeball is a fast-paced game with students throwing the ball at an opposing team attempting to hit them and score points.
Sutherland House School played Ellis Guilford and Christ the Kind schools.
Kurling involves students aiming a handheld disc on three steel wheels at the target. The rules of the game are to get your disc as close to the target as possible.
Sutherland House School won 1 out of the 4 matches. The school lost 2 out of the 4 matches. We drew 1 out of the 4 matches.
Handball is a fast-paced non-contact game where the team who score the most goals win the game.
The school won 2 out of the 3 matches. We lost 1 out of the 3 matches
The five students represented the school in a very positive manner, displayed great teamwork and played the game fairly and to the rules. Players were encouraged to shake hands with the opposition schools and display fair play and positive communication.
Their participation in these tournaments will go towards their evidence for OCR Entry Level PE or PE Life Skills Award accreditation.
Future sporting events include:
12th November - KS3 Dodgeball Event
19th November - KS3 Megafest Event
26th November - Notts County Community Event
